Mission4Today (M4T) is the new home of
Airwarfare downloads
Mission4Today website:
M4T will be the home for all Campaign and Mission
files formerly hosted on
Airwarfare. The old downloads system while popular,
lacked many of the features available on many other
sites. After two months of testing almost every CMS on
the market we settled for Dragonfly CMS.
Registration
There is no requirement to register to use the site &
download files. Registration is only required for file
uploads and for posting in the forums.
M4T Downloads Index:
The downloads system includes a hit counter and
statistics giving details of downloads over monthly or
annual periods. People can rate and write reviews about
your files. A version history is also kept. You keep
full control of your files. You are able to edit
details, update or delete your files whenever you want.
No more waiting for the webmaster to get around to it.
Viewing
and downloading files
There are separate categories for Campaigns, Missions,
Skins and Utilities with further sub-categories.
Campaigns, Missions are split into standalone & coop,
Featured & Author.
Standalone & coop are self explanatory, featured
campaigns are major releases or are launched as part of
a series. Campaigns by author are of a high quality and
are written by some of the best mission writers in the
community. Skins are split by author and
historic/generic categories.
M4T Uploads Page:
For security reasons only registered members can upload
files. Files are then queued for approval by admin. The
file upload system is quite powerful and may look
intimidating at first, I have written an
M4T Upload Guide which will help through the upload
process.
Airwarfare and its forums will continue as they have
done, all existing files will still be hosted here so
external links to forums will still work, they will all
be copied/mirrored to M4T.
