Oleg Maddox is a cool guy.

Hopefully he won't ignore a signifigant share of the computer flightsimulator community and not make one .

Or how about this?
Make the code opensource & let the Apple "Macintosh" computer fanbase do it on thier own.
Believe me -- it wouldn't be for money but, instead, dedication.

Thoughts?

Later!

Well you can never say never about most things, however I think the likelyhood of this being released for Macs is pretty low. The only way I could see it making it's way there would be to use unix (or is it Linux) code.

Hey, I run IL2 on my mac now. I have it set to full detail, too. I also run a Saitek X52 and a TrackIR4 on the system. It runs beautifully! I just love the cool graphics in IL2! :P

To clarify, I run it on my intelmac under bootcamp. I switch to Windows XP and run it from there. It runs very well and I don't see any need to have a native mac OS version although I wouldn't mind. You should see the graphics!! Woo woooo! I have all the settings maxed out cold with narry a stutter!
