IMPORTANT NEWS FOR BoBII (GMX/UK) USERS - PLEASE READ

Postby CPS_Bomber on Mon Sep 05, 2005 10:11 am

For all of you who are disappointed with the standard of documentation included in the GMX UK release of BoBII, you'll be pleased to know that the community over at the Shockwave forums, by sticking together and fighting continuously since it's release, has achieved a result with GMX & G2 GAMES.

This shows what can happen if we all work constructivly together

Cheers!

~S~ 8) and thanks!

Well, it's turned to a case of fingers crossed at the moment. Someone has pointed out that there is nothing official on the GMX forums to back this up... so now we're all waiting for someone from Shockwave or GMX to validate the post.

Everyone is hoping this isn't someone's idea of a joke....

Hopefully we'll know soon enough,

Cheers!

I'm kinda new around here. But I'm rather dissapointed in the whole sim. The graphics are not what I expected. Rather lame if you ask me. Gameplay is ok but thats it ok... It just feels incomplete to me.. Or maybe poorly done? I can sit for hours playing PF and just enjoy the scenery. Meanwhile WOV sorta lose's its luster after about 15 minutes...

It does have some strong points. But too few to make up for anything else. I myself can wait for Oleg's BOB... But then again I've been outa the flightsim scene for about 5 years, guess I got alot of catching up to do...

Well Olegs BoB is going to be a while, so keep on enjoying IL2 for another year at least. In saying that, there's a lot of fun to have with it, so that's not hard!
