These are FB/PF add ons available from RPG studios, or soon to be avilable. Does anyone know if these are available now, or specifically, how to get them if they are?

Version 4.05 - Pe-2 Peshka is out now

Version 4.06 – IL-10 Manchuria is currently with Ubi but has not been released (they’ve had it for a number of weeks now)

Version 4.07 – 46 will be some time in the future (expect some nice surprises in this one)

If you aren’t in Russia then downloading them will be your only option (have a look around at the guides for the installation of the 4.05 add on)

My question is about the screen shots, esp. the one with the Japanese bomber attacking the carrier.
Is there a mod that will allow me to see clouds like those?

The clouds that you may be referring to are within the current version, in fact it was with patch 4.01 (see http://mission4today.com/index.php?name ... ails&id=62).

You can turn on these clouds but following these instructions:

New clouds

The new patch introduces brand new clouds. In order to use them you must manually edit the conf.ini file located in your main game folder before launching the game. Open the file with a text editor, locate the [game] section and in the TypeClouds= line write in either 0 or 1, then save the file.

TypeClouds=0 - old clouds
TypeClouds=1 - new clouds

So, in my config.ini file it looks like this (just the last line is what you are looking at):
