Today we celebrate our 5th anniversary. 
WARNING Boring History follows:
On June 10th 2000 the first incarnation of this website was launched. CFS Pilots mainly supported the CFS series and saw the introduction of IL-2 Sturmovik.
We later changed our name to Mudmovers as support for CFS dwindled (can you blame us?
) and unparalleled support from Maddox, UBISoft and the gaming community helped us to build what I believe to be the most authoritative IL2 site on the net.
In 2004 after a little downtime (thanks to hunter82 for mirroring the old Mudmovers site for us) our domain name was lost
so again we were re-incarnated as Airwarfare.
Since airwarfare's launch we have seen user visits rocket by over 50%. This has been largely due to new contributors Dieg777, Luckyboy, Tsisqua, Extreme_One and others. Sorry if I missed anyone out, so many have helped us in the past year.
The Future????
Who knows? we have BOB2 WOV rollout sometime in the future, our coverage of that depends on Shockwave and their userbase to send us news and submissions
It might be great, might not, time will tell.
WWII Online sequal Battleground Europe will be getting good coverage from us in the coming months and our support of the IL-2 series and BOB will continue. We also promise to bring you the latest and greatest in sims.
