SP 4.2 Works Fine, But AF not at all

Postby Tex on Thu Apr 13, 2006 1:30 pm

Load the Falcon AF Profile, testing phrases work ok in builder, but when I go into AF (any Theater), activate VAC, AF does not respond in any way.
Everything works in SP4.2 with its Profile, so I know VAC is capable of doing the job.
Any answers out there?

Hi Trex, I am going to be away for a couple of days, but whenI get back, I'll have a look at this and see what may be the problem.

VAC works with Falcon F4-AF but.......

Postby sbclark on Thu Jun 01, 2006 2:33 pm

I have successfully used VAC with F4-AF, but I am having intermitent problems when assigning the middle mouse button as my PTA key. I activate the mouse button from my Cougar Joystick. It works great for a while, and then it fails (can't issue voice commands)

However, when I shut down F4-AF and launch the keyboard analyzer, I can see that VAC is still working. It seems as though F4-AF is "locking out" VAC. But then if I start F4-AF up again, VAC is working properly. I don't believe F4-AF ever uses the middle mouse button.

I may try a different PTA key like R-Home button, for example to see if this fixes the problem.

Anybody have any ideas what could be causing this?
