Profile error message on loading

I am having some trouble getting VAC to work for me.

first off let me say that I am running windows me
So, I do not see the speech properties in the control panel.
However speech training and microphone wizard functioned without a hitch.

I downloaded the 35 mb install. Ran a very basic set up for VAC builder.
Test phrase worked successfully. Saved my profile.

Then started VAC in system tray. I then attempeted to load the profile I created, where apon I get the following message:

"Failed to install low level keyboard hook -0 "

I can run the keyboard tester succesfully after this, but my commands do not work in game. Any suggestions?

I'm affraid VAC will not run on Windows ME. I'm using some API, but didn't think they were OS depended, I guess I'm wrong. The message you receive was the API failing on Windows ME.

The only place I use that hook is when you have the switch set for "Select key set for VAC On/Off Switch", you can try with that switch set to "NONE". If that works, I'll look for another approach on using that switch.
