Error

Postby SnotRocket on Wed Feb 16, 2005 9:12 pm

I have the saying "gear" bound to "g" for IL-2, but when I say gear, I get an error. The error box says

Run-time error '5':

Invalid procedure call or argument.

Any clue?

I like your handle. :)

What OS are you using and what version of VAC are you running?

I have that exact same problem :(

I've got your latest version - 1.4.1
running XP SP2

it recognises commands fine in the builder, but always give that error message when I try to use it properly, with and without a game running

EDIT: ...and VAC closes afterwards

In the install folder is a file that is created called log.txt. Could you run VAC System again to error and post the contents?

Thanks,

I have done three of the training things

here's the log:
"17/02/2005 11:44:19
"
"Loading... CSS.xml"
"CSS profile loaded"
"Enabling speech"
"Disabling speech"
"Enabling speech"
"Voice activation key not pressed"

It says the activation key isn't pressed, but I did, but also it shouldn't give an error just because I try to speak into the mic with it off. :?

You are right, I found the error and corrected it in 1.4.2, which is ready for download.

If you are trying to use the Push to Activate key in IL2/PF there is going to be a huge delay and most likely will not work. IL2/PF is very resource hungry and delays the ablility of VAC seeing the Push to Active key is being pressed.
