Reordering Activation List

Having problems attempting to reoerder my activation list. The list is lenghty so I want to put in Alpah order to make it easier to find commands. I'm not havng any luck with the reorder instructions from 'Tips of the Day".

I can right click and drag/move single items but there is no way to save the file changes. Moving an item in the Activation list does not activate the save button and there isnt' a save option in the "File" menu. Also, I cannot move multiple selections. When I try to click more than one Activation description the entire Activation box grays out and VAC ceases to function.

It would be convenient to have an option to put the list in alpha order. If that is not possible then allowing the selected item(s) to be scrolled to the top of the list would be a big help. Currently you can only move an item to the top of the box so if you add a description beginning with "a" and you have 50 Activation descriptions in the list it would take a lot of effort to get the new Activation description to the top of the list (I believe new Activations are always added to the bottom of the list)

Let me know if I'm doing something wrong.

Hi MM,

I did find a problem in the Action list when you try to select multiple actions, I corrected it and updated the web site.

There is a sort for the Action list, if you click in the frame around the list window, it will sort by Action, then Category. If you click in the frame again, the builder will invert the sort. If the Actions order changes the "Save Profile" button will become active so you can save the Action order.

The changes work great. I was able to put the entire list in alpha order but I did run into a problem which I have not determined the cause.

Here is what happeed. I had put the list in alpha order and I was quickly moving through the list checking the entries.ie. key codes, action phrases and VAC responses. Sometimes if I did missed the exact spot I wanted to click, the list sequence would be scrambled. Then, I would have to make sure I did not save and then exit to make sure I did not lose my alpha sequence. At this point I am not sure where I mouse clicked to cause the re-sequence. Hope these things help.

Hi MM,

You may have clicked within the frame and caused an unwanted sort, I do it often.

I'm making an update to the builder, I think I'll change the sort to a defined spot or a button. That's one that needs changing.
