Obviously you are all capable of deciding for yourselves so this is just my opinion.

:evil:
I bought this add-on for FB a short time ago. Seriously folks don't bother with it as it's rubbish!

Most of the action is based around D-day and all i can say is 'YUK!'.

Examples of faults.

Missions completing as you start them.

Slowdowns to below 10 fps (even with all of your excellent performance increasing tips added!)

Battle of Britain missions flown over finland???!!

On the plus side it does add some fairly good skins to the inventory.

(1) did you turn off "Instant success" under "Difficulty (2nd page) settings in-game?
The slowdowns are probably due to too high intensity settings. check [DGen]] section in conf.ini, maybe lowering the intensities will help
try
AirIntensity=Low
GroundIntensity=Low
Values can be "Low", "Normal" or "High"
It depends a lot on the power ofyour system and available RAM.
The low fps may be fixed by this too.
There is also a patch available for Aces Campaigns at the GMX forums. see here for patch 1.01
The Finland map being used is because there is no good map to simulate D-Day and the Finland map at least comes close.
GMX Media did underestimate the needed system. you need a far more powerfull system than the 800MHz 256 MByte they give as a minimum. Maybe they got a bit confused with their BoB WoV ;)
