Is Mat Manager 2.36 compatable with IL2 46?

Aces,
I try to do a fresh install and I am defeated when the install asks for the path to the IL2FB.exe . I think this may because of the slightly different path involved.
Can anyone give me an assist?

As far as I understand it, save 46's il2.exe to a safe place, rename 46's il2fb.exe to il2.exe, check the desktop icon so that it points to the il2.exe (previous il2fb.exe) and point MAT Manager to it. in the Uvisoft/IL-2 Sturmovik 1946/ directory. That should do it.

Kaiser - I just reinstalled MAT Manager (pointing to the new directory path for 46) and then renamed the exe as Max has said. Works like a charm.

Gents,
Thanks very much, I've just completed reinstalling(don't ask,please) and updating IL2 Mats and Manager, IL2 Stab 6.2, and IL2 Manager 5.0, using the Skullduggery suggested by Max. All that remains is to do likewise with DCG and I'll be a very happy troop.
