I just uploaded a major improvement to the BoB/BoBII terrain editing tutorial. Major highlights include a fully described process for inserting SRTM height data into the terrain, and some file handling revelations which allow editing to be done completely via the gimp freeware graphics editor. This reflects all the things we've learned in the last year working on the BoBII terrain, I just haven't had time to document them til now.
