Installing with Battle over Europe

Due to a bad system crash I am reinstalling IL2+BOE+AEP+PF but I am having trouble when I try to install AEP and keep getting an error that AEP can`t find FB.
I`ve checked thru the forums but nothing is mentioned as to where I should slot Battle over Europe. I`m sure that previously I installed it between IL2 and FB.
Can someone please advise me - also does it matter when BOE is installed ??

If I am not mistaken, BoE requires FB\AEP. So you will need to install BoE after you install AEP.

It seems you can install BoE over FB V1.0 since it updates FB to V1.22

So install would be FB (V1.0)BoE (V1.22)AEP (V2.0)

If AEP can't find FB, just auto-run the first FB disk and install again, exit when it asks to insert Disk 2. This will set the correct Windows Registry keys so AEP can find FB.

It's good practice to start the game after each install/patch and see if it reports the right version in the lower left corner on startup.
