Greetings all

After reading the Slovakia Map thread my interest in making a map or a few maps of Italy has taken on new steam. The problem is where the heck do you find the tools to do so? Anyone have an idea as to where to get the mapmaking tools? I have made several maps for countless other series of games and would love to do so with this one. Any help is deeply appreciated.

Hi hemitheus, Welcome to Airwarfare.

The map making tools are under control of 1C:Maddox.

These tools are a commercial product used under strict license conditions by 1C:Maddox and are in the Russian language.
They come without any documentation, and are accesible only to very few people who have reported mastering them is very difficult.

Developement of IL-2 has ended however, so I think the chance of the tools becoming available to you are very slim sadly enough.

Developement of a map is a huge undertaking and takes a lot of effort.
